Year 5 Writing about The Victorians.

When I went to the Bradford Industrial Museum I dressed up.We went in the school classroom and we had to call the teacher Ma'am. She had a big cane. All I could hear in the class was the slates. It was quite dark. My Victorian name was Bella. I saw Peter get the backboard. It is a board which you put round your back and put your arms over. Then we looked at the horses. There was a really big shire horse. It was white. Then we went on the tram. It was noisy. A bell went every time we turned. I liked the horses best. I fell asleep on the coach on the way back.

BRADFORD INDUSTRIAL MUSEUM .

When we went to the Industrial Museum it was hard work. But good fun . We could not put our elbows on our desks. The Ma'am was strict. I was scared at first .After that we had our dinner. We had soup, bread and an apple. Later we went to see the horses. One was called Norman, the other was called Rusty. Norman was strong. He was very strong and tall as well. I gave Norman one polo. After that we had a ride in the tram. I had a good day.
